Reid landed a role in the Academy Award-winning movie 12 Years a Slave as Emily after he earned small roles. Her next major film was Sleight, portraying Tina, Jacob Latimore's younger sister of the movie's protagonist Bo.She ended up as a runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing's eleventh series in 2013. She also presented on BBC and Save Money Sunday Morning Live: Good Food on ITV.
