Rhea Jo Perlman born March 31, 1948. She is an American actress and author. Her fame is directly connected to her role on the sitcom Cheers from 1982 to 1993. The sitcom lasted for over 11 seasons. During this whole time she was nominated for 10 Emmy Awards where she won four times as an Outstanding Supporting Actress. She was also nominated six times for Golden Globe Awards.
