Nick Rivera Caminero (born 17 March 1981), professionally known as Nicky Jam, is an American singer and songwriter of the Latin trapand reggaeton genres. He's well known for songs including "I," "Travesuras," "Te Busco," "El Perdón," "Hasta el Amanecer" and "El Amante," the latter three from his album Fénix in 2017. He is also recognised within reggaeton genre for producing romantic tracks.He started to work in the music business after his first album, where he met Daddy Yankee when they worked with Guatauba and DJ Playero. Daddy Yankee ordered that Rivera collaborate for him. They became friends during the late 1990s and early 2000s, forming the inofficial duo Daddy Yankee and Nicky Jam, also known as Los Cangris.
