How tall is Nancy Kyes?
Young, perky and attractive brunette actress Nancy Kyes had a tragically short film career; she starred for director John Carpenter in three superb films, in which she performed under the name of Nancy Loomis. She was born in Falls Church, Virginia, on 19 December 1949. Nancy attended high school in Riverside, California and studied theatre, in Evanston, Illinois, at Northwestern University. Nancy made a strong film debut as a whiny secretary in Attack on Precinct 13 (1976), a challenging and thrilling urban crime thriller. (Kyes also served as a costume mistress behind the scenes on this picture.) She gave a beautifully funny and vibrant performance as feisty babysitter Annie Brackett in the excellent seasonal slasher classic Halloween (1978).
