During her youth Michelle Clunie spent a lot of time working as an artist, dancer and violinist during films, operas and recitals. She received a grant in the Ballet Academy, where she studied and trained during her adolescence. At the age of 19 she sold a violin of $200 for her acting career in Los Angeles.Clunie is maybe best known for her appearance in the critically acclaimed show Queer as Folk, as Melanie Marcus, a witty, dedicated and activist-minded lesbian lawyer. She played Ellen Beals on Make it or Break It from ABC Family and MTV guest stars as Ms Finch from The Teen Wolf.
