Lewis Marc Capaldi (brought into the world 7 October 1996) is a Scottish artist lyricist. He was named for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Somebody You Loved" bested the UK Singles Chart where it stayed for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it arrived at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, it was named at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards for Song of the Year and won the 2020 Brit Award for Song of the Year. Capaldi likewise won the 2020 Brit Award for Best New Artist. On 17 May 2019 he discharged his presentation collection, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which stayed at the highest point of the UK Albums Chart for about a month and a half.
