How tall is Jon Tenney?
Jonathan Frederick Tenney is an American actor[(born December 16, 1961). In TNT's The Closer, he played Special Agent Fritz Howard and continued Major Crimes. Tenney was born in Princeton, New Jersey in his spinoff. His mother, Dr. Lillian Sandra Baum, was a psychiatrist, and his father, Frederick Haworth Tenney, was a research physicist. His maternal grandparents were Jewish immigrants from Poland, whilst his paternal forebears were of English descent. He was awarded a B.A. Graduated from Vassar College in 1984, where he received a Masters degree in drama and philosophy. He later participated as a member of Group 19 (1986–1990) in the Drama Section of The Juilliard School.Tenney made his acting debut in Mike Nichols ' touring production The Real Thing. He has performed on and off-Broadway, and in regional theatre. His stage credits at New York City include Biloxi Blues, The Substance of Fire and The Heiress. He started working on television, starring in a number of short-lived series including Brooklyn South by Steven Bochco, Kristin Chenoweth's sitcom Kristin, and guest appearances on'' Cybill', Will & Grace, Murphy Brown, Spenser: for Hire and Get Real. On all four major networks the series with Tenney as a regular were cancelled.
