James Anthony Patrick Carr (born 15 September 1972) is a British actor, TV host and journalist. He's known for his grim humor, signature smile and contact with hecklers. Carr went on to a sitcom career in 2000. Carr started featuring in a variety of Channel 4 television shows after being known as a stand-up comic, becoming the host of the panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and also The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, a comedy panel show that airs every December to recap the past year.
