Elina was born in Sioux City, Iowa on September 27, 1976 and displayed a talent for acting at a very young age, and realized early on that she should be an actress. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to carry on her life.Elina graduated from the Joanne Baron / DW Brown Acting School in Santa Monica, California, with a two year theater training program. She also worked with The Stella Adler Institute and The Groundlings Comedy and Susan Strasberg later on.
