David Miscavige is the leader of the Church of Scientology, born on April 30, 1960. His official title is President of the Religious Technology Center (RTC) Council, a company that manages the Dianetics and Scientology trademarks and copyrights.Miscavige was a delegate of the church L. Ron Hubbard ("Commodore's messenger") when he was a teenager. In the early 1980s he rose to a leadership position and was elected Chairman of the RTC Board by 1987.
