Born 1970 in Seoul, South Korea, Byung-hun Lee grew up in a affluent household, thanks to his father, who was a prosperous businessman. He never dreamt about acting until it was proposed by a classmate about his mother's. In 1991 he auditioned and was accepted for KBS television network.His first show was a short-lived "Asphalt My Neighborhood" TV series Lee became famous in his next KBS album, "Tomorrow Love," in 1992, in particular with the female crowd.While he continued to do television shows in the 90s, he tried his luck in feature films as well.
