Amanda MacKinnon Gaiman Palmer[3 ] (born April 30, 1976) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, poet, and performance artist who was the lead vocalist, pianist, and lyricist of The Dresden Dolls duo.[4 ] She performs as a solo artist, and was also one-half of the Evelyn Evelyn duo, and the lead singer and songwriter of Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra[4 ].
